I took the time recently to test drive the Kubuntu Linux 9.04 Alpha release. Over the last few months in particular, a lot of cumulative technological efforts have really come to fruition. Just to name a few, the KDE 4.2 desktop, improved webcam and wifi support, and the EXT4 filesystem.

If you are living in a swing state, there is nothing wrong with picking the lesser of two evils.

Democracy, Communism, Anarchism, and Taxes

In my mind, a simple definition of a genuine democracy, would be something like "the idea, or a system based on the idea, that the people of a given society, should have meaningful control over the decisions that are made in that society." Seems simple enough right?...
